Concept

An East meets West evening surrounded by Western-Oriental mixed decor while enjoying a sit-down Asian-influenced, Western, or contemporary Thai set dinner.

Decorations and Activities

The evening begins with a welcome cocktail, specially created with a mixture of Western and local ingredients. To create the ambience, the area will be decorated with contemporary Thai props in a small garden and exotic flower centerpieces.

The dinner venue will be decorated with a mixture of Oriental and Western-style props and linens, contemporary-style Thai flower arrangements, lanterns, hundreds of votive candles on the dining tables, and aroma essence fills the room.

Thai contemporary performances and a live classical jazz band play tunes while guests enjoy special dishes. A Chef's creation fusion menu will be specially prepared and garnished to accompany the theme. Different styles of Thai contemporary table-tops and centerpieces and overall decorations accented with special lighting create a unique atmosphere.

Food and Beverage

Cocktails: Specially created Thai fusion-style canapés.

Dinner: Four-course Asian-influenced Western set dinner menu or Thai contemporary set menu.

Concept

An evening of vibrance and activities. Authentic Thai food stalls with food being prepared before the guests' eyes, as well as fruits and floral arrangements, surround the area. Guests will experience genuine Thai lifestyle and participate in different activities.

Decorations and Activities

Getting away from city life, guests will experience traditional Thai lifestyle in a relaxing outdoor
venue. Upon arrival, guests will be presented with Thai garlands and a special cocktail, welcomed by Thai hostesses in traditional Thai costumes who will lead them to the scene of the Thai Flower Market where activities begin.

Around the area, guests will walk by food stations, Thai food and fruit-carving demonstrations, plus flower garland making and umbrella painting, all of which will create a lively, festive mood. A Thai buffet is set up for guests to stroll around, select, and enjoy a variety of Thai dishes displayed and some demonstrated.

Decorations concentrate on colorful Thai flowers arranged in different styles. Hanging lanterns around the area, lamps on dining tables, and the reflection of lighted torches illuminate the area.

Entertainment includes a live band, Thai classical dances, and Rum Wong, a dance that guests can enjoy taking part in.

Concept

The decoration depicts Loy Krathong, an ancient festival dating back 700 years to the Sukhothai period when people celebrated the Lantern Festival on the day of the full moon. Lanterns or Krathong and the festival will be the major concepts for the evening.

Decorations and Activities

The evening begins with a welcome Thai cocktail, served in Thai-style containers. Thai canapés will be served and passed around. Feeling the pulse of the era, a Sukhothai drum band provides the background music.

Food will be served in Krathong, banana leaf containers, by staff in traditional outfits. Guests will enjoy an elegant Thai or barbecue buffet dinner, with some food demonstrated. During dinner, different traditional period dances will be performed.

On departure, guests will receive a small Krathong lantern, made from a banana leaf, either to float or to take back as a souvenir, reminding them of the evening.
